I am so looking forward to interacting with the students in this new school year; I love to hear their thoughts, questions, and ideas.
As a result of listening to the testimonies of other teens talk about the transforming power of Jesus Christ in their lives, I yielded my heart, life, and future up to Him when I was a teenager. The teen years are a critical time and I love the opportunities to talk with the students with them during the classes about His transforming power and how amazingly He moves!
Personal Testimony: I was raised in a Christian home and received Christ Jesus into my life as Lord and Savior at the age of fourteen. Since that time, I have had the opportunity to work with teens in Christian youth groups in addition to teaching at the high school level. I do love challenging them to go more deeply with God.
Goals and Responsibilities:
In my classroom, my intent is to point out how God moves in history and how we can see Him in various cultures and people groups. I hope to challenge the thought processes of each student and, for some begin, and for others, further an interest in parts of each class’s material that they had not considered before.
